Choir Atelier (CA)
The term “atelier” is a concept from the rehearsal sessions held by the committee. This activity can be participated in by members of the choir or non-choir competition participants (with a minimum age of 16 years and composition: S – A/MS – T – B/Bar). The committee will also invite practitioners in the field of choir (a member of the 9th SDGCF 2023 jury) as conductors for this choir atelier. Participants who take part in the choir atelier are required to appear at the award ceremony & event closing.

Choir Studio (CS)
Choir studio (choir clinic) is an activity organized by the committee for choirs (each choir consists of a maximum of 40 members, including conductors and musicians) who are interested in getting more intense training on music under direct guidance by one of the 9th SDGCF 2023 judges This activity will be carried out for two hours. The agenda for this activity will be preceded by a performance from a choir (maximum featuring two songs), which will then be criticized and evaluated by one of the judges (choir clinician), so that it is expected to improve performances. To get maximum results, participants in the studio choir must submit scores to the committee, a maximum of 2 weeks before the event. Choir studio can be joined by participants or non-participants of the choir competition.

Verbal Jury (VJ)
Verbal jury or meeting with jury is a forum prepared by the committee to bring together representatives of choir contest participants with the jury to discuss the performance of choir contest participants without discussing the results of the competition. Each choir can send a maximum of four representatives to participate in this activity.

Opening Ceremony
The opening of the 9th SDGCF 2023 will be held offline. This event will be opened by an authorized official (Diponegoro University Faculty of Law) and will be attended by an artistic team, judges, choir experts, and contestants. This event will be streamed on the YouTube SDG Choir.

Friendship Concert
This activity is open to participants who have registered specifically to perform at a friendship concert, or FREE for choir participants who have registered for other activities, if quota is still available. Participating choirs will have the opportunity to take part in a friendship concert, which was agreed in advance by the 9th SDGCF 2023 artistic panel. Participants in the friendship concert can come from non-choral participants. Participants in this event will receive a certificate of participation.

Special Concert
The special concert is one of the activities that will be held by the 9th SDGCF 2023 committee. In this event the committee will hold a concert by inviting a reputable choir or holding a vocal concert (recital concert).

Arrangement & Composition Workshop (ACW)
This activity is a seminar on arrangement and composition which will be held by the committee in a hybrid manner by inviting one of the judges who has a good reputation in their field.

Vocal & Conducting Class (VCC)
This activity is a vocal and conducting class which will be held by the committee in an offline manner by inviting one of the judges who has a good reputation in their field.

Awarding & Closing Ceremony
The closing of the 9th SDGCF 2023 will be held offline. This event will be closed by an authorized official (Diponegoro University Faculty of Law) and will be attended by an artistic team, judges, choir experts, and contestants. This event will be streamed on the YouTube SDG Choir.
